My Journey to Empower Leaders
I grew up in communist Poland, where opportunity was rationed as tightly as bread. But even then, I believed there had to be more available in life. Possibility for something greater.
At nine years old, my mother and I left everything behind for a chance at freedom in the U.S. Starting over wasn’t easy. I didn’t speak the language. I stood out in every way- my clothing, my strange accent. I was bullied and left feeling like I didn’t belong.
But I took every challenge as a lesson. Every setback, a chance to grow.
Finding My Voice & My Mission
In college, I found myself in a space where differences were embraced, not shunned. I started to flourish. Girls liked my accent. It was cool that I wasn’t from here. What once felt like obstacles became my greatest assets. That’s when I realized the power of persevering and owning who you are.
This lesson has fueled my career. When I finally owned who I was, the possibilities seemed endless. There is nothing that I felt I couldn’t accomplish, and I still strongly believe that today. I have overcome so many challenges in my own life and turned them into opportunities.
Now, helping other highly-motivated people overcome their challenges and accomplish their goals has become my life’s work, my mission, and the thing that brings me the greatest fulfillment.
